Plan de Restauración de Ecosistemas y Servicios Ecosistémicos

Desde el 2015 la DINAMA lleva adelante el Plan de Restauración de Ecosistemas y Servicios Ecosistémicos con participación ciudadana, en atención a la medida 8 del Plan de Acción para la protección del agua en la cuenca del Río Santa Lucía.

Natalia Echarte, de Florida, hace dos años eligió participar como voluntaria en el plan de reinserción de monte ribereño. Una vez por semana Natalia se dedica a este trabajo. “Puedo ver cómo se está restaurando el ecosistema; hemos encontrado insectos, larvas, diferentes tipos de peces que antes no estaban, pájaros, que si no estuviera tan limpio no podrían vivir, y esas son las cosas que me entero participando. Además de que me lo tomé como una forma de vida porque siento que cuando interactúo con la naturaleza me cambia la energía y me permite percibir en mi cotidianidad a la naturaleza que me rodea. Tengo muy claro que tenemos que cuidar los ciclos de los sistemas naturales porque si no nosotros también desapareceremos.”

"I can see how the ecosystem is being restored; we have found insects, larvae, different types of fish that were not there before, birds, that if it was not so clean could not live, and those are the things that I find. In addition to that I took it as a way of life because I feel that when I interact with nature it changes my energy and allows me to perceive in my daily life the nature that surrounds me. I am very sure that we have to take care of the cycles of the natural systems because otherwise we will also disappear. "
